A video of a man slipping outside his mom's house has proven yet again that it is always funny when someone (usually someone else) falls over.
In the TikTok video, which has over 800,000 views, a man known as @potdylan can be seen exiting his mother's house on footage caught on a home security camera, and quickly slipping over on a black mat.
Exclaiming, "Ow" he quickly gets up and walks back towards the house saying, "Right, right, Mum, can you check your ring camera and show your husband why I don't like that mat!?"
One user gleefully commented: "The mum's husband receiving the motion detected notification like."
Many wonderful impromptu moments have been caught on security cameras and recent years, delighting the internet and proving that in this day and age, someone is always watching.
In 2021, the Amazon Ring camera sold 1.7 million units globally, meaning it was the most popular doorbell security camera sold.
With its obvious advantages also come some downsides, as according to Amazon, Ring have handed over private camera data to the police 11 times already this year.
Check out the moment a couple of young people try to enter the wrong home. Caught on Ring camera, the apparently slightly worse for wear pair walk confidently up the stairs on to the porch of a house.
The male then asks the female, "Do you have the key?" to which she responds, "Why would I have the key?"
"Do you not live here?"
"What. What the f**k are we doing here."
"Are you serious? Get off this random person's porch."
A mischievous couple decided to prank their mother and mother-in-law using the security camera.
In the footage posted on TikTok by user @adejohnlea, a woman can be seen walking around the kitchen when a bodiless voice says: "This is ring monitoring. This is Ring monitoring, we have reports of movement in this building.
"To prevent an alert being triggered, could you please follow these steps."
The voice then tells her to jump up and down, do star jumps, turn in a circle all before taking a bow, all of which the mother-in-law does. Once she realizes the jokes on her she shouts, "you p**** at the camera" before laughing.
As well as doorbell surveillance, pet cameras have become increasingly popular in recent times and have led to no end of hilarious videos. Beans the cat was not impressed that their owner had set up surveillance.
Reddit user gigglebush88 posted the video of Beans' disgruntled reaction, as the cat sniffs the camera, stares intently at it, and even bats it with a paw.
