After trying a magic build for the first time, one player notices a glitch in Elden Ring that causes enemy NPCs to start spinning in midair.
Despite releasing around two months ago, players have already dug extremely deep into Elden Ring. Given the sheer wealth of content for players to experience, from majestic locations to unique enemy designs to the soul-crushingly difficult boss fights that put FromSoftware on the map, Elden Ring players will almost always be able to experience something new in-game. Though, that sentiment can also be applied to bugs and glitches as well.
For how impressive Elden Ring is on both a visual and technical scale, the game isn't without bugs that players could potentially run into. While the most recent patch for Elden Ring, update 1.04, fixes a number of glitches in the game, there are still likely several more bugs that managed to slip through the cracks. For example, one of the more recent glitches is rather humorous in nature.

Over on Reddit, a user named u/toba_13 posted a brief gameplay clip explaining how this is their first time doing a magic build in Elden Ring. Nevertheless, upon defeating an enemy and the horse they were riding, the player discovered a glitch that caused the two character models to start spinning around in midair, seemingly stuck together. This lasted for only a few seconds before the two enemy models landed back on the ground in a heap.
It's possible that after landing on top of the horse, the enemy model grafted itself onto the horse model, which then caused some sort of odd occurrence involving collision. In fact, many of the glitches that players have encountered in Elden Ring tend to stem from a lack of collision detection. Take, for instance, the glitch that caused a Runebear to sink through the ground.
It's amazing to see just how much players have managed to discover within Elden Ring over such a short timeframe, in terms of both glitches and content. Considering how much of a departure the open-world design of Elden Ring is when compared to other FromSoftware titles, it's surprising how much content Elden Ring has to offer its player base.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Elden Ring going forward. While not every FromSoftware title has received DLC, such was the case with Demon's Souls, it's certainly possible that Elden Ring could receive DLC at some point. Right now, it's impossible to know if that's the case, given the short amount of time that has passed since Elden Ring's release, but that doesn't stop the multitude of fans from asking for DLC.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
